Smarties, Children of the World Activation

On the back of the growing number of cases of childhood obesity, Nestlé Smarties enlisted YDx’s expertise to create an experiential activation event based on responsible and ethical marketing.


Given our in-depth knowledge of the youth market, our understanding of the Food & Beverage legislation and our solid track record of ethical youth campaigns, YDx spearheaded this campaign along with Nestlé.

Children learnt about 16 different countries, their cultures and traditions, and family values in a fun and interactive campaign.

Besides the activation, the campaign encompassed a schools campaign, in-store promotions, and media across all channels.

The campaign was so successful, that it was rolled out in 2008 and a follow on campaign was rolled out in 2009!
